Need a Little Further Inspiration? Check out these Food & Cookery Book Recommendations - Part II

Queen Camilla's discussion on the benefits of reading for five minutes a day, walking 10,000 steps daily, and consuming plenty of vegetables and fruits was truly inspiring to me.

Her words energised me to dig out some of my favourite foodie books and share them with you.

1. Everyday Superfood by Jamie Oliver

I was fortunate enough to work with Jamie Oliver and always found him inspirational, passionate and rather good fun. I believe his cook books reflect his personality and deliver a balance of food that is good for your health as well as the soul.

From Jamie's collection my favourite would be Jamie Oliver's Everyday Super Food full of recipes inspired by a Mediterranean style diet and brimming with super duper anti-oxidants. If you would like the book it is available via

2. Bold Beans: Recipes to Get Your Pulses Racing by Amelia Christie-Miller

You may have seen Amelia Christie-Miller on Dragons Den and listened to her on the Radio 4 Food Programme. Amelia really is queen of beans and has a fabulous beany cook book to get your pulse racing.

But beans have had it tough. They've been side-dished, un-loved + pushed to the back of the cupboard. But this bible of beanspo (what they call bean inspiration) celebrates these protein-rich, sumptuous + satisfying marvels and gives them the makeover they truly deserve.

A whopping 80, NEW, FRESH, + EXCLUSIVE bean-filled recipes to really "get your pulse racing". From belly-warming bean bowls, inspiring hearty-salads + seriously show-stopping bean platters, there really is something for all the veggies, vegans, flexitarians + carnivores out there.

With contributions from the Bold Bean team as well as Melissa Hemsley, Thomasina Miers and the team at Mob among others, these are ENTICING, EXCITING recipes uncompromising in their deliciousness.

If you want some beany inspiration then you can get The Bold Bean Cookbook at https://boldbeanco.com/products/bold-beans-cookbook and a selection of their yummy beans too!

3. Mildreds Vegetarian

On a fabulous foodie photo shoot in London a very dear and rather hip friend introduced me to the fantastic little vegetarian restaurant - Mildreds in Soho. The food........ and the wine there blew me away. Later he kindly gave me this book and I've loved it ever since. It provides some great gluten free options too. If you want to cook from it too it's available at:-

If you would like further personal nutrition support then please browse some of the packages and services available with myself

Please come back next week to see the next foodie book recommendations that I can share with you and if you try any of these then please let me know how you found them.
