Professional & Qualified Service
At Bridgford & Bingham Nutrition you can be confident you are being fully assessed by a professional.
Your personal Nutritionist, Nina Thomas, is a fully trained and Registered Nutritionist, completing her professional training to become a member of the Association for Nutrition. Registered Nutritionists are competent , qualified nutrition professionals who meet the rigorous applied standards for scientifically sound evidence-based nutrition and its use inpractice.
A passion for science, food and nutrition led her to Kings College, London to study Food Science. Having developed food and drink ranges for major retailers her career has allowed her to travel the world researching food trends and cuisines and focus on providing healthy eating for consumers. Following a Masters in Nutritional Sciences she became a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr). As well as keeping fully up-to-date, a Registered Nutritionist only gives advice on evidence-based scientific research. It’s the same kind of science used by our NHS and Public Health England to define nutrition policy.
You can, therefore, be reassured not only are you receiving a personalised service, but a professional one too.
Approach
Nina's approach consists of an initial ‘no obligation’ confidential chat to identify a programme appropriate for your own situation and goals. Once agreed to mutual satisfaction, the next step consists of you keeping a 3-7-day food diary which Nina then analyses for nutritional value. Using the latest non-invasive technology, measurements can be taken to assess body composition & basal metabolic rate. This personalised data can be examined, resulting in recommendations and to help formulate a simple programme aimed at achieving both your short- and long-term goals.
This is very much an outline approach to the programme which will be all about you and your needs and tailored appropriately, always being cognisant of your current health.
